I love the shape and rhythm, I think it was something that could be held with excitement, embedded in the past, in language. It is multifaceted, not simply appealing to one person, it appeals to all ages. Using the ampersand as inspiration in art came naturally, it is unique. You can see the shape even when manipulated and stretched.
